Come honor this year’s Environmentalists of the Year with us!

ECOS first started hosting the Environmentalist of the Year Awards in 1973. The awards ceremony is a time to celebrate and recognize the past year’s regional champions and community sustainability successes. It is also a time to reflect on the work we still have in front of us in the year ahead.

The 2018 award categories and honorees include…

Environmentalist of the Year - Jack Sales
Environmentalist of the Year - Jennifer Donlon Wyant
Lifetime Achievement Award - Matthew Baker
Public Servant Award - Assemblymember Kevin McCarty
Community Organizer Award - Dyane Osorio

All profits from this event will directly support the operations of the Environmental Council of Sacramento and our mission to achieve regional and community sustainability and a healthy environment for existing and future residents. By working proactively with our members, member organizations, local government, and community groups, ECOS energizes and brings positive change to the Sacramento region as we strive to develop thriving communities.

Wine, Refreshments, Live Music and More!

Attendees will enjoy wine made by Moniz Family Wines, as well as light, healthy refreshments (provider to be announced) and live music at the reception from 5:30 until 6:30 pm.
